Access channel
The access channel of the Buenaventura Maritime Terminal has a length of 31.5 km equivalent to 17 NM. The depth is 13.5 m at low tide in the outer part and in the inner bay the depth is 12.5 m at low tide. Width of the access channel 200 m on the outside and 160 meters on the inside.
